never save your best

a little something on vintage french lace.

As the title-never save your best, get that dress/boots/extra special thing ....and wear it now. Your dress too dressy? Dress it down with  thick opaques. Boyfriend sweater. Old trusty Converse. Take it from 'only special occasion' to fabulous daywear!

Vintage flavour heels... Topshop 5 yrs ago! Worn here with black sweater tights from Urban Outfitters.  I also love these with a lightly tanned leg and  pencil skirt or light dress in the summer months.

Sheer prettiness in a dress, perfect for summer months & bare legs ending with the distressed boots.

perhaps teamed with one of these very modern cuffs?

vintage italian leather shoes!

a little sheer sequin jacket, newish but looking very vintage. a failsafe when i want to mix it up- the casual stripes with a little sparkle and glitz. thrown on with skinnies and a large flower for my hair. good to go

vintage pearls - always a good bet

add the toning stripe socks and the animal print heels!

I guess most girls never quite grow out of the dressing up box. So we should rarely save our best, wear it and mix it all up now, tomorrow or the next. The school run, the walk on the beach, dinner at your mum's, sat afternoon. Get the best dress thats languishing in the back of the wardrobe-you know the one you gaze at longingly imagining yourself wearing it. Well i can recommend doing it NOW, you wont regret it!

So please do let me know, send in a pic - if the dress or fave piece is worn NOW.
Send your images to suzie@suziewheatvintage.com I would love to feature your favourites in future posts!
